Frederick Henry Van Dyck
March 29th, 1935 - February 4th, 2013
Fred VanDyck, 77, of Melbourne passed away Monday, February 4th. Born in New Jersey, and raised in California and Nevada; Fred was a resident of Brevard County since 1973. He concluded a distinguished Air Force career in 1979 and transitioned to executive management positions with aerospace contractors at the Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral Air Station until his retirement in 2000. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, and best friend Shizuko; two sons, Mark (wife, Ally) of Fort Lauderdale, and Ken (wife, Monica); grandson, Adam, of Melbourne. There will be a service at the Beach Funeral Homes, 4999 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, on Monday, February 11th, at 11:00am, followed by a private family reception.
