January 14th, 1991 - November 18th, 2017
Gabriel Pharic Ide, 26, returned to his heavenly home November 18, 2017. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 25, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8934 W Market St, Colfax, NC 27235. Visitation with the family starting at 12 noon, prior to the services. Gabriel was born January 14, 1991 in Greensboro, son of Melanie and Patrick Ide. Gabriel was the much anticipated first grandchild for both sides of his family and became the light of their lives. As the family grew, Gabe was the best big brother to his four younger brothers and sisters. He had a passion for family, music, playing his guitars and loved to share his talents. Gabe had a special gift for making connections and being a most loyal friend. His kindness of heart, generosity of spirit and gentleness of soul will be greatly missed but remembered always by everyone he touched. Gabriel was preceded in death by his infant brother, Ammon Blade, his beloved Papaw, Mort Hamilton his paternal grandfather Ken Ide, his Uncle Big Joe Hamilton and cherished Uncle Tom Crowe. Survivors include his mother Melanie Ide and his father Patrick Ide; sisters Brigitta and Echo, brothers Gideon and Elijah; Nana,Carole Hamilton; Grandma, Trish Ide; extended family including Aunt Iris Crowe with cousins Cameron and Thomas Crowe; Uncle and Aunt Phillip and Diane Hamilton; Aunt and Uncle Julie and Dwinther Abreu with cousins Isabel, Giselle,Marina, Rio, Genevieve and Ryker Abreu; Aunt and Uncle Dana and Derek Pierce with cousins Riley, Noah, Christian, Dallin, Tanner and Calvin Pierce; Uncle and Aunt Charles and Julee Hamilton with cousins Seth, Jillian and Clark Hamilton; Uncle Eric Ide and many treasured friends. Family Visitation held at the Colfax LDS Building from 12 to 2 pm prior to the Funeral Services with interment and Graveside Dedication immediately following. Service Information
