Obituary Gail Robin Scott, 67, passed away on September 21, 2021. She was born on June 14, 1954 in Germany to Naomi Wright and Ples Wright and was raised in Louisville, Kentucky and resided in Colorado Springs. Gail was proud of her job as the number one crane operator at the Rocky Mountain Steel Mill in which she retired after 15 years. She attended Pikes Peak Community College and received her associates degree in the early 2000's. Gail was a hard worker and would do anything to make sure her family was taken care of. She truly loved being with her family and watching them grow. She married Willie Hughey in the 1970's, and on April 26, 1971 she gave birth to her number one stalker, Denise and received her late son, Dennis, on December 14, 1981, and daughter, Meisje in 1993. She enjoyed going up the hill with her two amigos Clara and Paula, and also her dear friend Marry Jane. She enjoyed softball and was the biggest die-hard Denver Broncos fan. She was the life of a party and loved having a good time with her friends. She was never the type to hold her tongue, and always said what was on her mind. She was like a personal diary to many, and always had the best advice. Her favorite thing to say was 'I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND A DAY!' She was preceded in death by her parents Naomi and Ples Wright, and her son Dennis Hughey, sister, Wilma Jean Campbell, and Aunt Madell. Gail leaves to cherish her memories to her children Denise Wright, Meisje Durant; Grandchildren, Kadajah Borom, Kadijah Borom (Jermaine Gammage), Ajanae Jenkins (Kevin Jenkins), Kashayla Dewitt-Phillips (James Phillips), Camry Durant (Arthur Vaughn), Naomi London, Monique Durant, Tatieanna London, Janaiya Pope, Jamela Hawthorn, Mandell White, LeAzia Bailey, Zyrie Bailey, Jaden Campbell; Great Grandchildren Lyrical, Ayva, Kamari, Khalil, Dazwan, Dasan, Athena, Jayvyn, Adonis, Alani, Samara; Sisters, Sharon, Clara, Lavonne, Jackie; Nieces and Nephews, Shanutel, Darrell, Michael, Latasha, Brian, Barbara Campbell, Matthew, Deborah, Demetrius, Chevy, Paul, Jeffrey; First Cousins, Brian, Joey, Keith, Gloria, Stephanie, and numerous relatives and friends.
