Gailen Sprague

Obituary Gailen Andre Sprague, born November 18, 1955 in Iowa City, IA. Passed away December 16, 2021. Gailen grew up in Denver, CO and graduated from South High School in 1973. He began his Radio Career in Aspen, CO and with over 40 years of Radio Experience, he had many great opportunities in Denver, Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland. Whether it was Gailen, KC Fox or The Gasman, anyone that has listened to radio in Northern Colorado has heard Gailens voice on the radio. He loved radio, and the opportunities that it enabled him to contribute to many community services and helping those in need. A Big Man with a Huge Heart. He also loved working on his classic cars over the years and took any opportunity to go fishing. He is survived by his wife, Meg, his son Gailen M. and Ally (wife), stepson Stephen and Angie (wife) and stepdaughter Liz & Mike (husband) and his three grandsons who were the lights of his life. He also leaves behind, his sisters Maryanne and Kris and his many nieces and nephews. And his favorite Aunt Suzanne. He will be greatly missed with his kind soul and generous heart.
