Garrett Raleigh Staples

Staples- Garrett Raleigh 13 of St. Petersburg passed away Monday January 10, 2005 at All Children's Hospital. A native of St. Petersburg, he was a student Shorecrest Prepratory School. He earned his Brown Belt in Karate and was an avid fisherman. He was Episcopalian. Survivors include his mother Valarie Hughes of St. Petersburg, his father Johnny "Bud" Staples of Palm Harbor; a brother J.W. Hughes of St. Petersburg; a sister Lindsey Staples of Indiana; his maternal grandparents Bill and Joyce Knowles of Stuart Florida and his paternal grandparents Jack and Judy Staples of St. Petersburg. A private cremation is planned, and the family will hold private memorial services the weekend of January 15th.
