Garry Lee Phillips
October 31st, 1975 - October 17th, 2016
IN LOVING MEMORY OF Garry L. Phillips Jr. October 31st, 1975 October 17th, 2016 Garry L. Phillips, 40, of Olympia departed this life Monday, October 17th, 2016 at Providence St Peters Hospital in Olympia, WA. Garry was born in Benton Harbor Michigan on the 31st Day in October of 1975 to Garry L. Phillips Sr and the late Deborah A. Phillips. Being a Halloween baby Garry took on Proudly the nickname Boo. He immediately had a love for sports the same as his father has. He also has a very deep passion for music that he shared with his mother. In 1982 with his family they headed to Ft Hood Texas where he was handed an important responsibility when he became a big brother to his Baby sister Kaleena. From there Garry was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Italy. In 1986, Garry and his family arrived at Ft Lewis Washington where they decided to make Olympia WA there home. Garry attended Nisqually Middle School and Timberline High School where he met his closest friends D and Dandrea Terry making Everlasting Friendships. In the late 90s his dear friends Marlon introduced him to Monique who would bless him with his first-born son Dre in December 2000, and 4 years and 3 days later they were happily giving birth to his second son Isaiah. In 2006 Garry and Susan were given the opportunity to spend time with his Youngest son Xavier who has been patiently waiting for him in heaven. The most amazing thing about Garry was the love he had for his family. Garry supported his mother with her volunteer work and was at his happiest when he was helping those in need. He was a fighter and a strong man. He will truly be missed. Garry leaves to cherish his memory his Father Garry L. Phillips Sr, Sons: Dre L. Phillips, Isaiah A. Phillips Sister: Kaleena L.
