Gary Stephen Brown
August 10th, 1952 - May 27th, 2018
Gary Stephen Brown, 65, passed May 27, 2018 following an extended battle with Cancer. A Celebration Gathering of his friends and family will be held from 4:00PM until 6:00PM Saturday June 2, 2018 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. A time of reflection and memories will start at 4:00PM in the Chapel. A native of Newport, Tennessee, Gary was the son of the late Bernice Fox and William Brown. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his sisters Sandra Brown, Janice Brown Gentry, and Susan Brown Poe, and his brother Denny Brown. Gary graduated from Cocke County High School. He was retired from RJ Reynolds and later worked as a supervisor in the Warehouse Division for SOCO-TAB Company. Always full of life, Gary enjoyed hunting, golfing, friends, and especially time with his wife Kathy. Survivors include his wife Kathy Lovins Brown of the home; nephews Michael Gentry and Bartley Gentry of Newport, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
