Gary Linton, III

Gary B. Linton III died unexpectedly on January 10, 2016. Gary is survived by his wife Carol, his sister Rebecca Linton, his children Gary B. IV and Kathryn Parker, and his three grandchildren Johnathan (18), Kyra (13) and Jericho (8). He leaves behind cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Gary was born October 24, 1948, in Clearwater; FL. Gary graduated from Auburn University with an Electrical Engineering degree while serving in the US Navy. Gary worked for Northup Grumman as a Software Engineer before retiring in September 2009. Gary was a devoted husband to his wife Carol, who just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. In his spare time he loved photography, spending time with his grandchildren, lunch every Wednesday with his friend Bob and barbequing for family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at 1:30pm at Suntree United Methodist Church, 7400 N Wickham Rd Melbourne, FL 32940. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Community Christian School, Re: Technology Fund, 1616 Ferndale Avenue Melbourne, FL 32935.
