April 14th, 1967 - August 24th, 2024

Mr. Gary William Lee, age 57 a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024. Mr. Lee was born April 14, 1967, in Highland Park, Michigan to Gary Edwin and Jeanne Toni (Barone) Lee. He was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduated from Winter Haven High School continued his education at Ridge Vocational dual enrollment, University of South Florida (bachelor’s in education) and United Diesel Technicians in Nashville. Gary was a crew member at The Tampa Bay Marina Racing Boats and a church volunteer. He enjoyed airbrushing, sewing, computers, welding, camping, hunting, fishing and loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his paternal & maternal grandparents and 2 uncles – Warren & Dave. Gary is survived by his loving family, mother & stepfather – Jeanne & John Gregory of Auburndale, FL.; father & stepmother – Gary & Mary Lee of Sterling Heights, MI.; brother – Scott (Melissa) Lee of Auburndale, FL.; aunt – Sherry & Jim Smitherman of Taft, TN.; niece – Caitlyn (Cody) Tucker of Lake Wales, FL.; nephew – Garrett (Erica) Lee of Tampa, FL. and great nephews – Michael, Hudson & Luke. An inurnment will be held later in Alabama. Arrangements By: Kersey Funeral Home.
