Gary Owen Meredith

"Gary Owen Meredith, 53, of Shea Ave. died suddenly on Sunday, October 3. Born in Scottsdale, AZ, June 20, 1957 to Charles Owen and Elizabeth Susan (Dingler) Meredith, he has lived in Belchertown since 1997. Gary was a process engineer for Turbocare in Chicopee for 17 years. In his leisure, Gary enjoyed his dogs, as well as gardening and golf. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 29 years, Carla (Simeone) Meredith, and his son Michael Owen Meredith of Belchertown. He also leaves two brothers, Scott Charles Meredith and his wife, Kanyani Sirixay of Redondo Beach, CA, and Jeffrey Young Meredith and his partner Therese Bashel of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Additionally, his father in law, Carl Simeone of Acton, and sisters in laws Andrea Austin and her husband Clayton of Sutton, their son, Andrew, Patricia Rotella and her husband CJ of Framingham, their children Audrey and Carol, and brother in law Michael Simeone and his partner Jennifer Washburn of Harvard, and their children Paul, Alyssa, and Jack survive him. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Belchertown United Church of Christ Church with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Acton. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 7 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., (Rte. 202).
