Gary Stevens Gary L. Stevens, 71 of Junction City passed away February 5, 2014 of cancer. He was born January 20, 1943 in Eugene, OR to LeVerne & Ruth Stevens. He married Dianne (Libby) Stevens in August 1963. Gary had passion for farming, construction and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved and was loved by his family. All who knew him loved Gary for his sense of humor, and desire to help those in need. Survivors include his mother Ruth (Starns-Stevens) Bleier of Junction City, brother Rod Stevens of Fresno, CA, wife Dianne Stevens of Junction City, sons, Tim Stevens of Redmond, Tony Stevens of Junction City, daughter Tammy Breach of Thurston, 3 grandchildren, Tanner, Taytum, Ty of Redmond, and a step grandson, Dillon of Estacada. He was preceded in death by his father LeVerne Stevens and brother Dennis Stevens. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Junction City on March 1, 2014 at 2:00. A reception will follow at the Moose Lodge in Junction City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gary L. Stevens Memorial Fund at Selco Credit Union, OHSU Cancer Center in Portland, Oregon or Junction City Fire/Rescue. Arrangements entrusted to Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home.
