Gary Wayne Tozzi

TOZZI, Gary Wayne, 61, of Tampa, passed away unexpectedly April 1 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Grace Tozzi, brothers Charles, John and Michael Tozzi. Gary was a lifelong resident of West Tampa, where he attended McFarland Park Elementary School, West Tampa Jr. High and Leto High School. In his youth Gary was an avid deep sea diver and a proficient spear fisherman. He spent many happy hours diving and spear fishing the waters from Tampa to Key West. Gary is survived by his loving brother, Ronald F. Tozzi (Rose), sister, Debra Sanders (Chuck), sister-in-law Cynthia Tozzi; also three nieces and three nephews; Ronald M. Tozzi, Rose Tozzi Alvarez (Benny), Michelle Tozzi Diener (Jerry), Timothy W. Hernandez, Nicole Hernandez Fuller (Jason) and Michael Sanders in addition to several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26 2014, 7 p.m. at Community Life Church, 5701 N. 20th Street, Tampa, FL 33610. A time of fellowship will follow immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Gary’s memory to the charity of your choice. Gary is gone, but he will never be forgotten.
