Gayle H Studer
March 23rd, 1946 - May 7th, 2015
Gayle H. Studer, of Ione, CA, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the age of 69. She was born in Ogden, UT, on March 23, 1946, to the late Kenneth and Gladys (Gleed) Hendricks. She was the loving wife of Jay Lynn Studer, whom she married in Lake Tahoe, CA on August 1, 1993. She worked as a bank manager for eighteen years, a secretary/real estate agent/manager of a construction company for 5 years, and finally the general manager at MP Associates in Ione, CA for twenty years. After retirement, she volunteered her time as an officer and organizer in the Amador County Corvette Club alongside her loving husband Jay. Together with the club, they donated many needed items to their local Amador County charities throughout the year. A classy woman, Gayle was very personable, kind and always gracious. Gayle was known by the people she loved for her terms of endearment, her dynamic spirit, and her strong work ethic. She made others smile with her beautiful charm, naturally strong spirit and quick-wit. Her determination and persistence made her an excellent cook and she enjoyed watching the Food Network channel to encourage her inner chef. Her love for animals and nature led her to take many trips down narrow country roads, exploring for beautiful landscape, critters and wild flowers, while listening to her favorite country tunes. She especially enjoyed dolphins, butterflies, kitties & doggies and dining and socializing with loved ones at Marlene and Glen’s Diner in Plymouth, CA. Most of all, she loved and adored her family. Gayle is survived by her husband, Jay Studer of Ione, CA; son, Jerad Taylor and his wife, Deb of Jackson, CA; sister, Suzy Krause and her husband, Don of Janesville, CA; brother, Garold Hendricks and his wife, Linda of Lake Forest, WA; nieces, Sheryl Matthews and her husband, Troy of Clovis, CA; Bree Bergford and Alina Blood of Parker, CO; brother-in-laws, Gail Studer and his wife, Suzy, Lyle Studer and his wife, Dorothy; step-daughters, Lynne, Sheri, Melissa, Rebecca; step-sons, Toby, Jason; and numerous Hendricks cousins. She was preceded in death by her precious darling daughter, Lara Kristeen Taylor in 2011 and her BFF for over 50 years, Louise “Weez” Lemmon just a few months ago. Services will be held at a later date. Because of Gayle’s love for animals, donations may be made to Amador County Foundation Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1154, Jackson, CA 95642. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.danerimortuary.com and signing the guest book. To the best wife and mom a husband and son could ever have, you will forever be in our hearts and memory. Now in the loving care and keeping of our Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, we will see you again in Heaven our sweet adoring “Mer!”
