Geneva Johns Corley
June 28th, 1932 - October 20th, 2021
Geneva Johns Corley, 89, of Lexington passed away on October 20, 2021 at Lexington Medical Extended Care. Born June 28, 1932 in Jesup, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Lou Allice Beasley Johns. Geneva loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed exercising, attending church and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of River Springs Church in Irmo. Geneva is survived by a daughter, Haylee C. Anderson (Don) of Little Mountain; a son, George R. Corley, Jr of Chapin; eight grandchildren, Angela Corley, Brooke Corley, Matthew Corley, Justin Corley, John Corley, Tommy Corley, Dalton Anderson and Hanna Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Allen B. Corley. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 25th at Mount Horeb United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Tim Shull officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make memorials to River Springs Church, 1007 W. Shady Grove Road, Irmo, SC 29063. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the Corley family.
