Geneva Gertrude Gano

June 8th, 1926 - July 29th, 2024

Geneva Gertrude (Ramft) Gano, 98, of Colorado Springs, went to meet her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday July 29th 2024 while in home hospice for heart and lung failure because of her advanced age. 

 

She was  born June 8th, 1928 in Vivian Louisiana to John George Ramft and Ella Francis (Magonith) Ramft, Geneva went on to live a long and productive life as a homemaker, mother and an example of godly living before all those who knew her throughout her life. 

 

Geneva was married to John Gano for 66 years until he preceded her in death in 2018. She stood by his side throughout 26 years of military service to their country. 

 

Geneva was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy in 1988, her parents, sister Lillian and her brothers. 

 

She is survived by Sons Joe and Edward Gano, Daughter in law Debbie, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. 

 

A one hour remembrance and viewing will be Friday August 23rd 2024  @1:00pm - 2:00pm MST,  at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

Graveside service will be at 2:30pm MST at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
