George Ernest Bonnefoy, Jr., 95, of Jackson, CA, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson. George was born in Sacramento, CA on December 11, 1916, a son of the late Vivian (Ruffner) and George Ernest Bonnefoy Sr. He worked 20 years as a truck driver for Warner Bros Cement Co. and Claude C. Woods, and as an equipment operator for 8 years for Amador County Landfill. George is survived by three daughters, Mildred, and her husband, Casey Senneff of Stagecoach, NV, Doralee Mueller of Jackson, CA, Bonnie and her husband, Arlen Cranfill of Jackson, CA; sister, Vivian Fernandez of Jackson, CA; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great -grandchild . He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Burneice Susie (Hampton-Gray) Bonnefoy; 4 sisters; and 1 brother. Friends are invited to attend a visitation Monday, April 2 from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Center, 229 New York Ranch Rd. Jackson, CA 95642.
