George B. Box

George B Box Sr., retired Lt. Col. USAF, 92, of Seminole,Florida, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2017 while surrounded by family. After his decorated career in the military, he was employed by Raytheon for 20 years.He is survived by his children Jennifer Box, Judson Box, Cathy Chamberlin, Mary Clemens, and Timothy Box. He has 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Mary E. Box; his second wife of 6 years, Dorothy Killen-Box; and his son, George (Ben) Box. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. We will always carry his memory in our hearts. Services will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on June 16, 2017 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Disabled American Veterans Charity. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family. Service Information
