CATES, George Peter, 72, of Nassau, Bahamas passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born in Rock Sound, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Peter was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a retired District Manager for British American Insurance Company, a member of the Royal Victoria Lodge #441 F&AM where he was Past Master and also a member of Lodge Unity. Peter was a kind and very generous person. He was all about his loving family. Peter is survived by his wife, Penny; two daughters, Tamsin Cates and Beth Armstrong and her husband, Seth; grandson, Thomas Armstrong; three brothers, Clifford, Maitland and his wife, Daphne and John and his wife, Jennifer; nieces, Marsha and Tiffany Cates; nephew, Christopher and his wife, Laura; great nephew, Aragon Cates; great niece, Arianna Cates. Peter’s funeral service will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Shirley St., Nassau, Bahamas. Date and time of the service will be announced as soon as available.
