George Alvin Cheesman Jr.

George Alvin Cheesman Jr., 63, of Greeley passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. George grew up in Colorado, a place he loved and never left. He was born May 18, 1960 in Rapid City, South Dakota. George was a hardworking man that was gifted in his trade. He owned and operated Craftmaster’s Home Improvements for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting and playing cards. He enjoyed gardening, growing all types of plants and cooking for his family. Always a quick witted man, telling jokes and making others laugh. George will be dearly missed and always remembered. George was predeceased by his Father, George Cheesman Sr. and Mother, Wanda Rau. He is survived by his wife, Robin Cheesman, daughters; Amanda Cheesman and son-in-law Josh Anderson, Cassandra Peonio and son-in-law Travis Peonio. Grandchildren Geovanni and Sophia Peonio. Sisters; Ranae and husband Gary Knowlton, Mechelle Rathbun and significant other Lon Coatman, Georgia Kendall. Brothers; John Teeter and wife Shayla, John Cheesman, James Cheesman and wife Megan, Charles Cheesman and sons Emmitt and Jackson, and Jay Sims. Step-father Harold Rau. He is also survived by many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Robin Cheesman and his family request a celebration of life be held in his honor. They desire all of George’s loved ones to join them in celebrating his beautiful life at Adamson Life Celebration Home, on January 12, 2023 at 1:00pm in Greeley, Colorado.
