George Lewis Gray, age 92, of LaBelle, passed away April 16, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. He was born Apr. 14, 1924 in Dunlap, TN, to the late Parker and the late Alice (Smith) Gray. He served in the Army. He resided in both Tennessee and Florida for many years. Survivors include his daughter: Sheron Jones (Carroll) of LaBelle, FL, brother: Max Gray, sister: Brownie Johnson, grandchildren: Lori White and Brett Jones, great-grandchildren: Tyler Jones and Jacob Jones, nephews: Jerry, Dennis, Mike, Roger, Roy and Johnny and niece: Bobbie, Lana and Sherrie. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sheila "Teeny" Gray and great-grandson: Nate White. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Ortona Cemetery Pavilion, Moore Haven with Rev. James Daniels and Dennis Edgar officiating. Interment followed Ortona Cemetery. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
