Memorial

George Raymond Hall of Melbourne, Florida died peacefully in his sleep on September 12. He was born to John and Elsie Hall in Starke, Florida on February 7, 1928. George entered the Navy at age 15 and then switched to the Air Force when he was of legal age. He retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sargent after 20 years of service, including duty in WW II and the Korean War. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center where he worked on the Saturn V, Apollo, and Shuttle programs. He made some very special life-long friends during the years with NASA, many of whom lunched together daily at Whistle Stop Junction. George enjoyed travelling and lived many places around the world. One of his favorite places to visit was Las Vegas. It gave him great pleasure to travel with his daughter and son in law and some very special memories were made during those trips. He was especially pleased when three generations travelled to Las Vegas for granddaughter Andrea’s twenty first birthday. George is survived by his daughter Lisa Scott (Joe), beloved granddaughter Andrea Hubbell (Brian), grandson John Scott (Bobbie), brother Bobby Hall (Esther) and his sister Evelyn Jordan (Leon). He was predeceased by his sisters Muriel Fox (Howard) and Patsy Eddy. You may sign George’s guestbook at beckman-williamson.com

Often wondered how George was after he left Hunter's Ridge.....hope that he got well enough after moving to Melbourne to enjoy living by his family.....we still call it George's house. A Go getter, get things done, good man.
