George Ann Ingram
September 15th, 1935 - June 8th, 2015
George Ann Ingram, 79, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015, in Melbourne, FL. She was born in Greenway, AR, and spent her youth in Savannah, TN, as part of the Wolfe Family. She met Dan Ingram while at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and they married on July 14, 1957. They would eventually send all of their children there too. They moved to Moline, IL to raise their children and were surrounded by the Ingram Family. George Ann worked for over 30 years as a teacher, and after receiving her Masters, a guidance counselor. She retired in 1994, from the Davenport, IA public school system. She and Dan retired to Florida in 1998, first in Ft. Myers, and then to Melbourne. George Ann is predeceased by her parents, George Raymond Wolfe, and Loral White; step-father, Bill White; and nephew, Russ Wolfe. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Dan (aka Gene). Their love and support of each other is an inspiration to all and mostly to their children, Paul (Diane) Ingram, Philip Ingram, Pam (Kent) Kingsley; grandchildren, Zachary Ingram and Loral Kingsley; brother, John (Charlotte) Wolfe; and nephew, Mark (Pam) Wolfe; Anna Page and John Mark. A memorial service will be held at the Moline Church of Christ, 4800 38th Ave. Moline, IL, on Monday, June 15th, at 5:30pm; followed by a reception.
