Johnson, George F., Jr., 67, of St. Petersburg, died Monday March 27, 2000 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. He came here 4 years ago from his native Bridgeton, NJ. He had retired from Cumberland Mutual Fire Insurance Co. in Bridgeton, NJ after 30 years. In Bridgeton, he had also worked at the Bridgeton National Bank for several years and prior to that the A&P Super Market. He was a former member of Central United Methodist Church in Bridgeton and had served as church treasurer. He was an avid artist and organist. Survivors include one brother, Robert M., Hopewell Township, NJ; two nieces, Susan Homan, Hopewell Township, NJ; and Cheryl English, Elmer, NJ. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
