George J. LaBonte
October 20th, 1946 - July 19th, 2012
"Chicopee - George "Butch" J. LaBonte Jr., 65, of Reed St., passed away on July 19, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 20, 1946 in Holyoke, MA, son of the late George and Bertha (Kisiel) LaBonte. Butch worked for 43 years in the maintenance department at Spaulding/Callaway Golf Company in Chicopee. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah (Huber) LaBonte of Chicopee. He will also be missed by his daughter Cynthia Cousineau and her husband Kevin of Ware, daughter-in-law Roxanne LaBonte of Chicopee, brother-in-law Tony Huber and sister-in-law Dianne Cummings of Orlando, FL. He also leaves his seven precious grandchildren K.C., Cam, Cayley, Kenzie, Nathan, Michael Pare and Alyssa Pare, great granddaughter Avah Pare, aunts, cousins, a niece and a nephew. Butch was preceded in death by son, Brian LaBonte in 2010. A Memorial Services will be held on Wed., July 25th at 7:00 p.m. A calling hour will precede the service from 6:00-7:00 p.m.at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lorraines Soup Kitchen, 170 Pendexter Ave., Chicopee, MA 01013."
