George J. Mack

"Monson, George J. Mack, Sr., 70, of Cote Rd., died Tuesday, August 19 at Wingate at Wilbraham surrounded by his family after a long battle cancer. Born in the Three Rivers section of Palmer, May 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mary (Sanderoski) Mack . George grew up in the Palmer area and served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He later relocated to Yemassee, SC where he lived for many years before relocating to Monson in 2006. He was a self-employed truck driver before retiring. He will be deeply missed by his son George, Jr., and his wife Stacy, with whom he lived, along with two daughters Donna Suter of Spencer and Debra Kortekamp of Monson. He also leaves a sister Ruth Collins of Palmer, 11 grandchildren and beloved dogs Cricket and Piperoni. All services will be private and Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Noah's Ark Animal Hospital "
