June 2nd, 1961 - April 15th, 2014
MICKLE, Jr., George Joseph, 52, of Bradenton, FL, passed away April 15, 2014. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, George and his family spent many years in the Hartford, Connecticut area before moving to Florida. He had an immense love and devotion for his family which was evident in all that he did. George was an avid sports fan; he loved his Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins, and Minnesota Vikings. He was an All American Baseball player and played two years with the Cape Cod Baseball League. George was a loyal, hardworking man who also loved to travel with family and friends. He and Maeve had special times in Aruba and shared a very loving trip to Hawaii with their twin boys. George loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Included in his family were those special doggies as well. He loved all animals, especially his loyal companions. No matter what George did, he was smiling and living life to the fullest; always willing to help anyone. He will be forever missed. George was preceded in death by his father, George J. Mickle, Sr., beloved dog, Sparky. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Maeve, twin sons, Matthew and Scott, mother, Angelina, of Massachusetts, sisters, Judy Douglas (Steve), of California, Karen Filiault (Dan), of Massachusetts, and his beloved nieces and nephews, Tricia, Sara, Andrea, Steven, Jeff, Johnny, Tim, Maggie, Liam, Aedan, and his loyal companions, Duncan and Kiki.
