George Moberly
December 22nd, 2021
George Moberly, age 73, passed away on December 22, 2021 in Lake Havasu, Arizona. He is survived by his siblings: Nancy (Bill), Alex (Joyce), Robin, Sherry (Rick), his former spouse Colleen and his children: Jerry, Maureen (Norm) and Sarah. Grandchildren: Ross (Stephanie), Owen, Gage, Emmett, Jake and Ava and great grandchildren: Harper, Mac and Cru. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Clarice Enright, father Alex Francis Moberly and grandson Mac Killewald. George had an exceptional life. He grew up in Troy, MI in a military family. He spent 4-years of his childhood in Japan and Okinawa. He joined the Army after high school and then he had a lifelong career at General Motors. His children meant more to him than anything. He loved gardening, nature and spending time hiking, fishing and kayaking with his children. After he retired George loved to travel. He spent most of his time out west in Arizona where he eventually found his true calling in life at his church Isaiah. He volunteered at Isaiah about five days a week cooking, serving and ministering to the homeless. His heart was wide open and he shared his love for Christ with everyone that crossed his path. He will be laid to rest with his father at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please carry out George's love and passion for helping the homeless by supporting them in some way - donate food, clothing or volunteer.
