December 25th, 1937 - October 1st, 2024
George Benjamin “Benny” Pearl, age 86, formerly of Warner Robins, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, Tennessee. All service will be private, honoring Mr. Pearl's wishes.
He was born December 25, 1937, in Waverly, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Carl Pearl and Rebecca Ridings Pearl, and his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Sisk Pearl. He is survived by his son, Dr. Carl Pearl of Savannah, Georgia.
Mr. Pearl graduated from Tennessee Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Robins Air Force Base with 37 years of civil service. After retiring from Robins, he worked for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Air Logistics and Engineering (ALAE) for a number of years. The highlight of his professional career of 50 plus years, was working for his good friend, Mr. Rich Hardwick, owner of ALAE. Mr. Pearl believed being able to enjoy work was one of God’s greatest gifts. Other than working, he enjoyed spending time at his farm in Tennessee. He always put the interest and welfare of his family first.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093 in Mr. Pearl's memory.
