George Robert Perry, 69, passed away August 6, 2018. Loving husband to Patty Saunders Perry, George was born December 6, 1948 to the late Robert Berryman and Bettye Forkner Perry in Versailles, Kentucky. A real estate broker and appraiser since 1976, George loved not only his family and friends, but his community. In addition to his wife, Patty Perry, Versailles, George is survived by his children, Patrick (Nikki) Perry, Lexington, Emily (Michael) Benedict, Spring Field, and Rebecca (Jeremy) Shyrock, Versailles; sister, Mary (Spurgeon) Chapman, Versailles, Amanda (Roy) Lancaster, Versailles; grandchildren, Jackson, Drew, and Colt; step mother, Clara Perry, Versailles; and uncle, H.R. Forkner, Jr, TN. A Memorial Service will be held 4:30p, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Versailles United Methodist Church, 230 Paynes Mill Rd, Versailles with a Memorial Visitation from 2:00p until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest Memorial Contributions be sent to Cowboy Up for a Cure, P.O. Box 1541, Versailles, KY.
