George Mike Pistolis
November 7th, 1964 - March 27th, 2020
Mr. Pistolis, age 55, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 27, 2020. George was born November 7, 1964 in Fidakia, Greece, the son of Christina Pistolis and the late Mike George Pistolis. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Charlotte, NC. George had a great sense of humor a warm friendly spirit. He worked at Showmars for many years where he loved his customers and was always willing to help the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Schools with supplies. He loved helping people in need such as hungry kids. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He is survived by his mother Christina, sisters, Maria Kondilis (John), Georgia Sialmas (Pete), many nieces and nephews, cousins and many loving friends. Due to current situation and restriction, a funeral service for the immediate family will be held Wednesday April 1, 2020 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 600 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
