Born in East St Louis Il on June 23, 1946 passed July 7, 2024 in West Linn OR surrounded by his loved ones.   George “Pete” Roach Jr married Barbara Herbst on July 10, 1964.   They had one daughter, Kimberly Ann.

Pete is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Kimberly, grandsons Trevor and Tyler and soon to be granddaughter in-law Kaley, Tyler’s fiancé.

Pete was a local home builder for 30 years and was currently retired.

Family was all important to Pete.  This tribute written by his grandsons says it all about their Pa Pete.

Grandpa,

You were at every football game until you couldn't be there physically anymore, so you'd watch it on your tv at home.

You'd throw on movies about Aliens or giant monsters for Tyler and I as kids just to sit and hangout with us.

You had me shoveling dirt into a wheelbarrow on a job site when I was 5 just to keep me occupied

You loved our family more than anything and we were reminded every time we were together.

Even on your worst days of health, you'd still crack jokes that would make everybody laugh.

Im going to miss your funny comments.

I'm going to miss our secret handshake.

I'm going to miss your "hey buddy".

You're still the toughest guy I know.

Rest easy Pa Pete
