Georgia Ortiz 70 was called home by the Lord on her beloved father’s birthday June 26, 2023. Georgia was born in Gzria, Malta on February 27, 1953 to Charles & Concetta Psaila. Georgia was preceded in death by Raymond Ortiz, her parents Charles & Concetta Psaila and her brother Paul Psaila. Georgia is survived by her long time companion Clynton Grant of Tampa FL, her daughters Judith & son in law Demery Davis of Tampa FL, Carmela Ortiz & son in law Richard Ramirez of Spring Hill FL, her baby boy Henry Jack of Tampa FL, grandchildren Alexandrea Vargas of Northville MI, Demery Jr. & Jaedon Davis of Tampa FL. Her brother Charles Psaila & Sister in law Melody Psaila of Savannah GA. Sister Rosemarie Villa of Inverness FL & Sister in law Kathleen Leone of Toms River NJ. As well as many loving nieces, nephews, friends & cousins from all over the world. Georgia worked for the Keansburg School District in New Jersey for 30 years in the cafeteria as a manager & cook. She took pride in making sure the kids were all well fed & enjoyed watching them grow. When she retired, she moved to Tampa FL to be near her daughter’s & grandkids. Georgia loved to be in the kitchen to cook a good meal for her family, loved to be in the garden with her roses. She enjoyed laying on the beach or by the pool. Most importantly, she loved being with her girls shopping and going out to eat. Georgia will be immensely missed by her daughters, grandkids, family & friends. A viewing/visitation for Georgia Anna will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 1 - 4 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 4 p.m. with Deacon Edmond Anctil presiding at Florida Mortuary Funeral & Cremation Services, 4601 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, Florida 33603.
