Ways you can honor Georgia's memory:
Remembering Ms. Georgia... Georgia was matriarch of our family. She was 82 years old. One of her favorite life verses was Psalms 119:65-72. Also John 14:6-7. Georgia was a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital, a training hospital for nurses. Her career spanned 50 years as a nurse at Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, of Cleveland, Ohio; Hamot Hospital of Erie, Pennsylvania; and St. Joseph Hospital of Lorain, Ohio, where she bonded with many lifelong friends who still keep in touch. Bunny had many interests. She loved taking pictures. When given a cell phone with a camera on it, she never learned how to use the cell phone but she used it like a camera. You could see her walking, phone in hand, taking pictures of seagulls and the boardwalk. Smiles. She loved horses and loved to ride. She excelled in all sports. She bowled on the national women's bowling league for years. She loved March Madness, and the Cleveland Browns football team. She was one of the Browns’ most faithful fans. She loved living by the water at the Boardwalk, the friends she made there, and her prayer groups. She loved walks by the water and watching the seagulls. She love the Lord. Everyone who came in contact with her knew that. She loved to sing the old hymns. She loved to praise the Lord all the time. Everyone at St. Peter Hospital (from the emergency room through the third and sixth floors) at her doctor's appointments in Oncology, at the Lift Transit System, and at the grocery store, got prayed for. She loved people and she loved her Lord. She was a member of Capital Christian Center Church of Olympia, Washington. She loved her pastor and her church. She served on the prayer team. She was a member of the prayer links, and was a part of the Pastoral Care Team where she served by writing and sending care cards. Before coming to Olympia, she was a beloved member of The People's Church in Cleveland, Ohio. They called her every Tuesday and prayed The Lord's Prayer with her until the day of her passing. If you had the opportunity to know Miss Bunny, you were blessed.
