GEORGIA A. WELSCH age 92 of Jefferson passed away Tuesday April 3, 2018 at her home in Jefferson. She was born on February 13, 1926 in Cotton Wood, MN daughter of the late Gilbert J. and Anna (Elison) Rygh. She was a manager at St. Vincent de Paul in Jefferson and she loved gardening, sewing, entertaining and collecting antiques especially dishware. She was the family caretaker and will be deeply missed by her nephews Stanley (Sarah) Tauzell-Rygh of Jefferson, Dexter (Caroline) Blood, of Superior, Donald (Deb) Tommet of Phelps, WI, and Michael Rygh of Temple Hills MD, niece ZoeAnn Rygh of Temple Hills MD. 10 great nieces and nephews Daniel Tommet, David Tommet, Doug (Monica) Tommet, Isabella Tauzell-Rygh, Peter Tauzell-Rygh, Peter Blood, Paul Blood, Casey Rygh, Samuel Rygh, Star Cruz-Severino. She is preceded in death by her brothers Oswald Rygh, Martin Rygh, Peter Rygh, Jens Rygh and sister Dagny Blood. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church on Tuesday April 17, 2018 with the Rev. David Zandt presiding. Entombment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Madison.
