Gerald "Jerry” Allen Haas, 75, went to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on March 18, 2016 with his family by his side while he battled cancer. Jerry was born August 14, 1940 in Sterling, CO to Henry and Elizabeth (Beck) Haas. Jerry was a farmer and rancher and had many interests. He had an affinity for walking his dog, Abby, around the park. He was a member of Resurrection Fellowship, Loveland for 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Cherie; son, Shawn Haas; daughters, Melisa Haas, Tara (Mike) Hettinger and Madra (Fermin) Morado; grandchildren, Peyton, Jacob, Finley and Gracyn. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Brynnan Carys. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hospice of Northern Colorado for their kind care in his final days. A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25 at the Adamson Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to "Cherie Haas” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Service, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
