Warner Robins, GA: Gerald ?Jerry? Harbin, 75, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005 at his residence. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Centerville with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Harbin was born in Telfair County, GA to the late Joseph H. and Fannie Bell Poole Harbin. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Systems Analyst. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville, the former minister of music at the church for 10 years and a member of the Shining Light Sunday School Class. Mr. Harbin also directed music for Evergreen Baptist of Warner Robins, First Baptist of Jeffersonville and was a former singer for the Senator’s Quartet of Macon. He was a former football coach for midget football program and enjoyed watching the Northside Eagles and Houston County Bears play on Friday nights. Mr. Harbin was a avid wood craftsman but his love was his family and his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Myrtle R. Harbin of Warner Robins, daughters Patricia Rocky Griffeth of Centerville, Jane John Cuppett, Robin Kevin Coy both of Warner Robins, sons Terry Wanda Harbin of Warner Robins and Joseph Patricia Harbin of Centerville, sister Catherine Batchelor of McRae, brother Buddy Harbin of McRae, grandchildren Brandi H. Brandon Barrs, Kristi Jimmy Proulx, Jonathan & Michael Cuppett, David Harbin, John, Jake, Jason and James Griffeth, Brittany Harbin, Heather & Amber Coy. Contributions may be made to the American Red Cross at 346 Corder Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088 for the hurricane victims. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
