Geraldine Marie Bruch of Jackson, CA, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the age of 84. She was born in Watsonville, CA on June 29, 1930 to the late Rose Marie (Terra) and Manuel Borba Dias. Geraldine married the love of her life, Raymond "Jack" Bruch, on June 28, 1949, in San Jose, CA. The couple moved to Amador County in 1972. Jack wanted to move out of the Bay Area, so they sold the family business at the Chevron Station, and both went to work at the mill. Family was very important to Geri, and her grandchildren were her life. She was outgoing, youthful, and very positive. She enjoyed bowling and attending church, and was up for doing anything. Geri is survived by her two sons, David (Donna) Bruch, and Mike Bruch; sisters, Linda Wagner, Lorraine Simas, and Jo Mullins; and grandchildren, Lindsey, Kathryn, and Cody. She was preceded by her husband, Jack; and brothers, Anthony Dias and George Dias. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at The Call Church in Pine Grove, CA, on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Contributions may be made in her name to STARS, at P.O. Box 208, Jackson, CA 95642.
