German Ferra
October 11th, 1956 - September 8th, 2024
German Ferra, 67, of Apollo Beach, FL, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love. Born on October 11, 1956, in Camaguey, Cuba, German spent his early years in California where he grew up. Later he lived in Minnesota, where his daughter Gabrielle was born, before settling in Florida, where he and his family called home for the last 23 years.
German was a dedicated husband to Yvelise Druziani and a loving father to Gabrielle Ferra, whose achievements brought him to immense pride. He was a loyal employee of 3M and IBM, but his true passions were found outside of work. German was an exceptional golfer, earning numerous amateur championships over the years. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden, growing vegetables alongside his wife and taking great pride in their harvests.
Despite facing health challenges in recent years, German's resilience and positive attitude were unwavering. He never complained, always focusing on the joy of spending time with his family. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.
German is preceded in death by his parents, Eugenia Maria Ferra and Giraldo Francisco Ferra, as well as his sister Maricela Mendoza. He is survived by his devoted wife, Yvelise, and his daughter, Gabrielle.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to help cover the costs of his funeral and related expenses. Donations can be made through the following link: GoFundMe
