Gerry "Bud" Albrecht
October 31st, 1930 - March 8th, 2011
Albrecht, Gerald D. 80, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in LaCrosse, WI, he came here in 1956. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Gerry worked for Clearwater Central Catholic HS as a maintenance director for many years. He was Roman Catholic and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Gerry "Bud" was very active with St. Vincent DePaul and the Men's Club. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara; son, Michael (Adrienne) Albrecht; daughters Patricia (Richard) Russell and Susan (Kevin) Day; grandchildren Kristin and Lauren Russell, Elvia Day and Rachel, Michael and Emily Albrecht. Donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul in Gerry's memory. There will be a public visitation from 4-7, with a prayer service at 7 on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Center, North East St. Petersburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, March 12.
