Gertrude (Trudie) "Gitel Bat Esther V Moishe" Mennen

Gertrude (Trudi) Boolkin-Mennen, 88 years old of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on July 3, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at Las Ventanas Retirement home. The address is 10401 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89135. Trudi was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 17, 1928. She graduated from Paseo High School, Kansas City, Missouri and completed her Associate of Arts in Business from Kansas City Junior College. She worked as a secretary for the Social Services Department in Kansas City, Missouri until her marriage to Paul Mennen on December 10, 1950. They were married 65 years. After their marriage they relocated to Tujunga, California a suburb of Los Angeles. Trudi was the Office Manager for Paul's medical practice until his retirement. After retirement, Trudi and Paul traveled worldwide as medical volunteers. Trudi was preceded in death two years ago by Paul Mennen. She was a loving mother and is survived by her three children-Lori Winchell, Joseph Mennen, and Julie Mennen-Wickham, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
