With sadness we would like to announce the peaceful passing of our father and husband of 64 years. Gilbert G Cerny Sr on August 19, 2024 at the age of 86.

Dad was known mostly in our family by the nicknames Pete or Gerry. When Dad is mentioned, generations of family and friends always reminisce about the great family holiday parties we had at our home and speak of the good things he did for them over the years. 

Dad was always a hard working multitalented mechanic. His career as a mechanic started in the truck and bus industry then moved on to heavy and agricultural

equipment. He always spoke with pride about his working years and of being able to work on equipment used on the gantries at Kennedy Space Center during the shuttle years.

Dad will always be remembered and missed by us all. Please keep our father in your thoughts and prayers.
