Gilbert Michael Moreno

Gilbert Michael "Gil" Moreno, 57, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on November 29, 2018. Gil was born on June 27, 1961 in Lynwood, California to Marjorie Walters and Santiago Moreno. He worked for the Walmart Distribution Center for 25 years, retiring one year ago. Gil was a member of the Masters Swim Team, he served on the board of directors for Boys and Girls Club, was a swim team coach, and an extraordinary man who left a legacy of great meaning through his charity works, good deeds, and volunteerism. He was a Doting Grandpa, Loving father, and Mentor. He achieved a lifetime of accomplishments too great to list in just a few simple words.
