Gilberto Salazar Gilberto Salazar, 34, of Yuba City, CA, passed away June 30, 2014. He was a loving member of the Yuba and Sutter communities for 25 years. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico April 30, 1980, he considered himself a Zacatecano at heart because his parents originated from there and he lived there as a child. He was a plumber by trade from Local 228 but would give any type of labor a try, no type of work would scare him away. He loved anything that had him working with his hands.He was a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend that will be missed greatly and leaves a huge hole in the hearts of anyone who met him. He leaves behind a wife, Maria Elena Salazar, three children Adan, Abran and Aron, Parents, Manuel and Apolonia Salazar, Grandma, Pascualita Salazar and siblings, Manuel Salazar Jr and Elizabeth Valencia. Services: Viewing July 8, 2014 from 4 pm to 7 pm and Rosary will begin promptly at 7 pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, Yuba City. A mass will be celebrated on July 9, 2014 at St. Isidore Church at 10 am followed by the burial at Sutter Cemetery.
