Gilberto Segovia June 1935-December 2020 A beloved and dedicated educator and family man. Started his professional career in Kansas as a high school teacher, moved on to teach at the university level, then moved from Kansas to California to become a staff member of Gavilan College for 25 years before retiring. He was always ready to teach to the best of his abilities, to learn new skills, to accomplish self set goals, to work incessantly to overcome obstacles. . . God saw that he was getting tired And a cure was not to be, So he put His arms around him And whispered “Come with me” His family requests your prayers and if you are so inclined, your tax deductible donation to Gavilan College - The Gilberto Segovia Memorial Scholarship
