Gisele Jeanne Chaloux

Gisele Jeanne Chaloux, 91, of North Port passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Born on February 24, 1927 in Martinville, Quebec, Canada to the late Omer and Anne Marie (Theberge) Bouthillier, she has been a Florida resident since 1996 coming from Waterbury, Connecticut. A member of the Catholic faith she possessed a great sense of humor clear up until her last few days. She loved gardening and the beautiful Florida weather. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker for her family. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Wilfred; a daughter, Mary and five brothers. Survivors include her loving children: Carole Torello of Woodbury, Connecticut; Donna Guerrera of Oakville, Connecticut; Joanne Chaloux of North Port, Florida; Ronald of Springfield, Missouri; John of Columbia, Connecticut and Bruce of North Port, Florida; three brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 11:30 AM until service time at 1 PM at Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road. Entombment will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida in memory of Gisele Chaloux.
