Gislene Pierre, 85, of Spring Valley, NY, passed away December 2, 2022. She was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on September 29, 1937. She graduated from high school in Haiti. She was married to the love of her life, Renaud Pierre. Gislene worked as a nurse’s aide. She will be deeply missed by her family. Gislene is survived by her 2 children Yves and Andi, and her 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Gerard Romain. She was predeceased by her husband, Renaud and sister, Marlene. She was a very kind and loving woman who cherished her family. Visitation Sunday, December 11, 4-8 pm at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Haverstraw. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Haverstraw.
