It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gladis Cestoni, who peacefully departed this world on August 24, 2024, at the age of 87, in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Born on March 29, 1937, in San Salvador, El Salvador, Gladis lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to her family. Gladis was blessed with a loving family who will cherish her memory dearly. She is survived by her beloved daughter Roxana Menjivar-Cestoni, her son Miguel Cestoni, and daughter-in-law Michelle Cestoni. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew Cestoni, who brought immense joy to her life. Gladis was a devoted sister to her brother Miguel Villeda-Cestoni and sister-in-law Olga Villeda. Her memory will also be carried on by her affectionate nephews, Juan Jose Villeda and Michael E. Villeda, and her dear niece, Jennette Villeda. Throughout her life, Gladis exhibited remarkable traits of kindness, generosity, and honesty. She was well-known for her loving nature and her dedication to her family, ensuring that those around her always felt cared for and supported. Although the details of her professional life and achievements were not shared, it is evident that her greatest accomplishment was the loving family she nurtured and the positive impact she had on everyone who knew her. Family and friends are kindly invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Loyless Funeral Home, located at 5310 Land O’ Lakes Boulevard, Land O’ Lakes, Florida 34639. Following the visitation, a service in memory of Gladis Cestoni will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Land O’ Lakes. Gladis's gentle spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her family find comfort in the enduring memories of a life well-lived.
