Mr. Glen Martin Michelson, age 80 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice Residential Center in Auburndale. Mr. Michelson was born November 22, 1934 in Malvern, Iowa to Charles Everett & Eva Winifred (Carr) Michelson. He was an Auburndale resident since 1981 coming from Iowa. Glen graduated from Mt. Ayr High School Class of 1952, retired after 17 years as a rural route supervisor with the Des Moines Register Newspaper. Glen was a self-employed contractor, past member of the V.F.W and American Legion. He enjoyed bowling, family and most of all fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother - Cecil. Glen is survived by his loving family: Wife of 46 Years: Joanne Michelson of Auburndale, FL. 2 Sons: Gary Michelson of Atlanta, GA. Daniel Michelson of Oklahoma City, OK. 4 Daughters: Christine (Robert) Buzzie of Auburndale, FL. Cynthia (Patrick) Fairchild of Oklahoma City, OK. Cheryl (Larry) Englmann of Oklahoma City, Ok. Sheila Throckmorton of Ore, TX. 3 Sisters: Phyllis Hummell of Red Oak, IA Betty South of Des Moines, IA. Wanda Adams of Kellerton, IA. 11 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren A private service will be held for Mr. Michelson.
