Glen Earl Tower

GLEN EARL TOWER Glen was born in Mendota, Illinois, on August 11, 1945 to John and Carrie Tower and passed October 29, 2015 in Gig Harbor, Washington. After graduation from high school he worked at Prescott Brothers in Mendota until he entered the Air Force in 1964. He studied radar on aircraft in Gulfport, Mississippi, and subsequently was stationed in Puerto Rico. After being discharged from the Air Force he began his career as a Tool and Die Maker and Machinist at Metal Marine Pilot in Tacoma, Washington, where he worked for thirty-four years. He ended his working years at Henderson Bay Products, Key Center, Washington. Glen always had a positive attitude and gave 110% in everything he did. Glen is survived by his wife, Phyllis, his four children, Melissa Tower, Jamison Tower (Kathryn), Cari Amick (Aaron) and Jillian Tower, two stepchildren, Rick Finkle and Stacy Halgren, sister Alice Sweborg (Roger), brother Dick Tower (Kitty), and seven grandchildren. A Rememberance of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Lake Holiday Club House in Gig Harbor.
