Born April 5, 1923 in Noonan, North Dakota, Glen was one of thirteen children born to Theodore and Anna Tweet. He often spoke about his time growing up on the farm and enjoyed his garden where he grew wonderful fruits and vegetables. While working as a custom combiner in Wolf Point, Montana, he met his future wife, Inez Tweet, who was working in Wolf Point during the hospitalization of her brother, Donald. A few years later, Glen was called to preach and the family moved to Lexington, Kentucky where he attended Bible School at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church. When they returned to Washington, with authority from Bryan Station Baptist Church, the South Park Missionary Baptist Church was established. Glen served as pastor for more than 40 years, faithfully preaching the gospel and caring for his flock including the larger South Park community.
